Our front-end bins are available in 2, 4, 6, and 8-yard options and support general waste, cardboard, and blue box recycling. Organics collection is available in our 2-yard and 4-yard bins, making them ideal for businesses with food or biodegradable waste requirements.

We offer flexible waste collection schedules tailored to your business needs, with pickup options available daily, weekly, or monthly. Our professional front-end bin rental service ensures your facility’s waste is managed efficiently, helping you maintain smooth operations without disruptions.

Yes, we have convenient drop-off locations to serve you better. With nine locations in the Greater Toronto/Hamilton Area and one location in Muskoka, our processing facilities (transfer stations) are open early, making it easy for you to drop off your non-hazardous mixed waste or construction debris.

The cost of commercial waste collection varies based on several factors, including the bin size, type of material collected, and pickup frequency you select. To receive an accurate and customized price, we recommend filling out the form on our website. Our team will review your needs and provide a detailed quote tailored to your business.

Contractors: Our standard rental period is 30 days. 

The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date. If you require a rental extension or want to make a change to your order, please call our Customer Service team. We require 24-hour advanced notice for any service changes during regular business hours. 

Extra Rental Day Charges: Contractors: $10.00 per day after the initial 30-days.

As the customer, you are responsible for scheduling your pickup date.

Yes! Please contact us for an extension on your rental period, and any changes to your scheduled service dates. We require 24-hour notice for service changes during regular hours.   

Construction bins can accept a wide range of non‑hazardous construction and renovation materials, including:

• Drywall (gypsum board)
• Roofing materials, such as asphalt shingles and cedar shake roofing
• Wood materials, including framing lumber and pressure‑treated wood
• Metal, including scrap metal and fixtures
• Cardboard and packaging from construction materials
• Flooring materials, such as tile, carpet, and other removed flooring
• Countertops and similar renovation debris
• Railway ties (must be declared in advance)

All accepted materials must be non‑hazardous. Items such as chemicals, liquid waste, paint, solvents, and unapproved asbestos are not permitted in standard construction bins and require special handling through YORK1-approved disposal services.

When in doubt, it’s always best to confirm material types with a YORK1 representative before loading your bin.

Yes! For safety reasons please remove any items that stick out over the top of the bin. If a bin is overloaded, it's not safe for us to transport it due to the potential risk of injury to the public and our drivers.
