Shred - $
20 ft in length or shorter. 5 ft in width or less. 1⁄4 inch or less in thickness. Must not include any heavy pieces, sealed drums or pails, any gas tanks, batteries, tar, and any hazardous or explosive material.
Car Rotors - $$
Clean drums and rotors must not contain steel parts including camshafts, valves, valve springs, and studs.
Aluminum - $$$
There are various classifications of aluminum, depending on the quality and process. Pictured here is Aluminum Siding.
Copper - $$$$
The “gold” of the scrap commodities. This high valued commodity has a very high recovery properties.
Stainless Steel - $$
Stainless steels are most notable for their corrosion resistance, which increases with increasing chromium content.
Mixed Wire - $$$$
Values can go from 0.20 a pound to $2 a pound, depending on copper percentage. Many different shapes and sizes and various prices.

Dealer Clips - $$
Mixed new and old obsolete clean black, galvanized and painted sheet steel scrap in 1⁄4 inch max thickness. May not include non-ferrous metal attachments, plastic, tar, wood, insulation, white goods, tin plated material, drums, pails or gas tanks.
Plate And Structural - $$
Alloy free carbon steel scrap a 1⁄4” and over in thickness. Must not contain pipe, alloy or high carbon steels bars, reinforcing bar, drill rod, alloy armour plate, and springs of any description. More $ for sizes 4’ or less.
Heavy Melt - $$
Alloy free carbon steel scrap a 1⁄4” and over in thickness. May also include flattened pipe of 4” diameter and over. Must not contain, cast and/or malleable iron, closed vessels, sheet scrap or light scrap, drill rod, chrome plated steel or any non ferrous bearing material. More $ for sizes 4’ or less.
Busheling - $$$
Consists of clean steel scrap, not exceeding 2 feet by 5 feet. Most materials are new factory sheet clippings, drops, stampings, etc.
Rebar - $
Rebar is a steel bar or mesh of steel wires used as a tension device in reinforced concrete and reinforced masonry structures to strengthen and aid the concrete under tension.
Notable Works
OPG
Our team has been involved in all 3 phases of this project. We dropped the 650 ft. stack, the precipitators, and boilers. In June of 2022 we demolished the last boiler and have moved on to the material processing and site clean-up phase.
VALE FROOD STROBIE MINE
Our team was involved in the 2nd & 3rd phase of the demolition of the crusher and mill buildings. Approx. 13,000 tonnes of scrap was processed and 100% of the waste was diverted from the landfill.
PPG PLANT
The team dismantled and demolished the 600,000 sq. ft. Pittsburgh Plate Glass Plant in Owen Sound. 95% of the waste was diverted and over 7,500 tonnes of scrap metal was recovered.
